Let's Talk Junk Removal — Building a Better Industry Together
There are a lot of people starting junk removal businesses right now. Some are doing it full-time. Some are doing it as a side business. Some have a pickup truck and a trailer and are trying to figure out where to start. Others have been doing it for years and are looking for ways to grow. That's why this section exists. We're going to talk about the things that actually matter when you're running a junk removal business: LLCs and paperwork. Taxes and accounting. Payroll and employees. Business banking. Insurance. Customer agreements. Marketing. Finding customers. Pricing jobs. Trucks and trailers. Disposal costs. Growing your services. And probably the biggest one: How do we stop competing against each other by simply being the cheapest? A junk removal company isn't selling junk. We're selling a solution to a problem. The customer has something they don't want, can't move, don't have time to deal with, or don't know how to dispose of. That's a service with value. This community can be a place where junk removal operators share ideas, experiences, pricing strategies, lessons learned and resources. Nobody has every answer. But collectively, we can probably figure out a lot more than we can individually. Let's talk junk removal.
